Sometimes you wanna go healthy, and sometimes you just want flat-out delicious. Well, how about today we give you both! This recipe is crazy-easy to make, with so much flavor, loaded with antioxidants, and designed to give you the burst of energy you need.
This colorful blast of fruit smoothie goodness is great for breakfast, pre-workout, or a delicious snack for the kids (just don't tell them it's good for them, if you know what I mean).
Ingredients You'll Need...
- Red Ripe Strawberries: 1 cup sliced
- Sweet Blueberries: 1 cup
- Banana: 1 sliced
- Vanilla or Plain Yogurt: 1 cup
- Raw Local Honey: 1 tablespoon
- Ice Cubes: 4
- Note: If you want to get crazy and add raspberries or black berries, nobody here is going to stop you.
- (And, if you really want to fill up, you can add some protein powder as well.)
3 Easy Steps to Prepare...
- Place ingredients in blender starting with the yogurt, then honey, ice, then the berries.
- Blend on high speed until smooth, 2 minutes or more if needed.
- Pour into a glass and down that wickedly tasty bad boy.
